PBIS
Here at Bennett we are a Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) School. PBIS is an evidence-based three-tiered framework for improving and integrating all of the data, systems, and practices affecting student outcomes every day. PBIS is here so that all students succeed.
PBIS is an evidence-based, date-driven framework proven to reduce disciplinary incidents, increase a school's sense of safety, improve school climate, and support improved academic outcomes for all students.
The premise of PBIS is that continual teaching combined with acknowledgement or feedback of positive student behavior will reduce unnecessary discipline and promote a climate of greater productivity, safety, and learning.
